Former 'X Factor' runner up Olly Murs has claimed that Simon Cowell wants to make his 87-year-old mother, Julie Brett, happy by tying the knot with his baby mama, Lauren Silverman, before their child is born.
The pop star said that the music mogul has said in previous interviews that his mum wanted him to have kids and he has always wanted to, but he wasn't ready, the Mirror reported.
The 29-year-old singer added that the X Factor boss has apparently met somebody that he likes and he is having a baby.
During a US interview, the music mogul explained that he would never expect to bring a baby up without a proper father.
When Cowell was asked if getting married was something he wanted to do before the birth of his son, he simply replied with a "Yes.
