Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said the Dadri lynching case must not be politicised and added that it should not be given any communal colour.
"Any incident that takes place is unfortunate. It must not be politicised and it should not be given communal colour," Singh told the media here.
The victim's family earlier today met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in his residence in Lucknow.
In the recent development, the Dadri police have detained Uttar Pradesh Home Guards constable Vinay and is being questioned for his alleged involvement in the case.
