Dani Alves has slammed Spain for being 'very backward' and has said that the fan that hurled a banana at him should be publicly shamed.

At the match against Villarreal when Alves went to take a corner kick, a racist fan hurled a banana at him. The Brazilian player kept his calm and ate the banana.

But now he expresses his anger and says that he would put the racist fan's photo on the Internet so that he is publicly shamed, Sports 24 reported.

The Barcelona right back said that the way he responded was spontaneous, and he is overwhelmed by the way people has responded.
