Daniel Radcliffe has said that every job that he takes nowadays is an effort to prove himself as an actor, as people still think of him as a child artist.

The 23-year-old actor told the Daily Express that he wants to prove his mettle, as an actor, as people's preconception for him as a stereotypical child actor is wrong, the Daily express reported.
