Cricket Australia has sacked Mickey Arthur and replaced him with Darren Lehmann as the new Australian cricket coach two weeks before the start of the Ashes.
Arthur was sacked after a meeting with chief executive James Sutherland and high performance manager Pat Howard in Bristol.
Lehmann is currently in England coaching Australia A, and is the current Queensland coach, news.com.au reports.
Arthur was dumped after Australia's poor performance on the field and lack of discipline off it.
The Test team lost 4-0 in India and failed to win a match in the recent Champions Trophy in England, the report added.
