DataWind on Friday announced expansion in its product portfolio with the introduction of the largest smartphone in its lineup, the new MoreGMax 3G6 smartphone, with a six-inch screen priced at Rs. 5999 (approximately USD 90 USD).
The phablet was launched by the Mayor of Toronto, Canada, John Tory during his visit to India. John Tory also visited DataWind state of the art Hyderabad during his visit.
"Today we've added a phablet to our lineup with a huge screen that meets the need of people wanting a rich internet experience on their handset," said president and CEO DataWind Inc., Suneet Singh Tuli.
The affordable MoreGMax 3G6 Smartphone integrates a six inch, point and gesture touchscsreen, featuring a 2 MP front facing camera and an 8 MP rear camera with the Android 6.0 operating System running on a Quad Core 1.3 GHz processor, has 1GB RAM and 8GB flash memory.
In addition, the tablet offers up to 32GB of expandable memory with features like Wi-fi Hotspot, Wi-fi Direct, Bluetooth, GPS among others.
