David O. Russell hoping to cast J.Law in US inventor Joy Mangano's biopic
Director David O. Russell is reportedly in early talks to direct and cast Jennifer Lawrence in an as-of-yet-untitled film based on American inventor and entrepreneur Joy Mangano, who created the Miracle Mop and Huggable Hangers.
According to Deadline.com, if the Oscar-winning star is selected for Mangano's role, she will play a single mom who works three jobs and overcame long odds with an invention that became a Home Shopping Network sensation.
Russell has previously worked with the 23-year-old actress in 'Silver Linings Playbook' and 'American Hustle'.
