Debra Messing and Will Chase 'call it quits'

Debra Messing and Will Chase have parted ways after going out for more than two years.

A representative for the 46-year-old actress told People magazine, that the pair, who had connected on the sets of their NBC show 'Smash' in 2011, have gone their separate ways, but remain on good terms.

When the couple had begun their relationship, the 44-year-old 'Nashville star' had recently separated from his Broadway actress wife, Stephanie Gibson, while Messing had estranged from her husband of 10 years, Daniel Zelman.

Messing and Chase had played romantic interests and the director Michael Mayer had called it a "showmance" adding that he didn't where the par would have met otherwise had it not been for the show.
