Bollywood's reigning queen Deepika Padukone is all set to join the world's biggest superstars at the Madame Tussauds with her wax figures in London and Delhi.
Expressing her excitement in a Facebook Live on Monday, the 'Padmaavat' actor revealed that her first wax statue will be unveiled in London early next year. This will be followed by another wax statue at the Madame Tussauds Delhi.
"I am so delighted. Sitting with the team of experts was a special experience and I look forward to it," said Deepika.
The team of Madame Tussauds' expert artists met the actress in London and took over 200 specific measurements and photographs to create an authentic look.
Deepika shared that the only time she had ever visited Madame Tussauds London before was with her parents when she was very young. "That memory has sort of stayed with me," said the actress. "And then to receive the letter and be a part of the experience feels great."
The list of Bollywood celebrities to have been waxed at the prestigious museum include Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar to name a few.
On the work front, she was last seen in 'Padmaavat' and will be next seen doing a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Zero'.
