The Delhi High Court on Thursday dismissed a petition filed by Congress leader Bhanwar Jitendra Singh seeking quashing of an FIR against him in connection with a Royal property dispute.
A case was registered against the former Congress minister for allegedly forging a trust deed to usurp the property of late Maharaja of Bundi Ranjeet Singh.
According to complainant Avinash Chandana, Singh used counterfeit papers for acquiring erstwhile Bundi state property.
The complainant claimed the last member of Bundi's royal family Ranjeet Singh named him the successor before his death.
He also said Singh, along with two others, used fake papers to claim the possession of the property.
