A man has been arrested in Delhi for allegedly sexually assaulting a seven-year-old girl at an isolated place in the national capital after luring her with food.
The Delhi police said that the minor girl lives in the Adarsh Nagar area with her family, while the accused is a tea seller.
The incident took place on Friday. The accused lured the victim over food, took her to an isolated place and committed the alleged crime. Since the girl already knew the accused, she went with him without any suspicion.
After committing the crime, the accused went to his tea stall while the victim reached home and narrated the whole ordeal to her mother. Later on, the police were informed, the police said.
