A militant detained in Dhaka confessed he had links with a female Pakistani diplomat before a Dhaka court nine days ago.

According to The Daily Star, the Government of Bangladesh has not taken any action as yet.

Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) operative Idris Sheikh was arrested on November 29 in Dhaka and he made the confessional on December 6.

Idris said that he got a ride from the diplomat in her car from Baitul Mukarram to Fakirerpool and received 30,000 takas from her.
