The year starts with a celebration for superstar Dhanush as his Twitter family has increased to four million in number.
Thanking his fans the 'Raanjhanaa' star took to his Twitter handle to share a picture of him, with 'Thank you 4 million followers. Thank you for your love and support' written on it.
"4 million followers ... forever grateful," he tweeted alongside.
The 33-year-old three National Awards winner will be featured in director Soundarya Rajinikanth's upcoming film 'VIP 2,' opposite Kajol.
It is a sequel to 2014 action-drama 'Velaiyilla Pattathari.'
On the New Year's Eve, the director came up with two first look poster of the film, as a treat for all the Dhanush fans.
In one of the posters, Dhanush, in a semi-formal attire, and Kajol, in an elegant black jumpsuit, are staring at each other in a construction site.
The second poster sees the 'Shamitabh' actor sitting on his signature moped at a tea stall, along with his fellow "Tea Kadai Rajas".
