Haryana Chief Minister M L Khattar on Tuesday said that the cost of diesel in the state will go up as the Value-added Tax (VAT) has been increased.
"The cost of diesel is going to go up as the Value-added Tax (VAT) has also increased," the state chief said at a press conference here.
Khattar further said that toll-tax collection from six of the National Highways in Haryana has been removed. The retirement age of government employees in the state has also been lowered to 58 years from 60 years.
"The toll tax collections from six roads in Haryana, that are also the National Highways, have been removed. Also, the retirement age of government employees has been lowered to 58 yrs from 60 years," he said.
The Haryana Chief Minister further said that the chairman and members of the state staff selection commission will also be removed.
