Disney will soon be launching a set of four new children's books based on the original 'Star Wars' trilogy.

Disney said, in a statement, the books will hit shelves beginning in October, with the publication of 'The Adventures of Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight,' by author Tony DiTerlizzi. The artwork would be done by Ralph McQuarrie, from the concept art that he created for the original trilogy, CNET reported.

The authors writing the other three books are Tom Angleberger, Adam Gidwitz, and RJ Palacio.

Disney said Angelberger will write a retelling of 'Return of the Jedi' while Palacio will write a new version of the original 'Star Wars,' and author Gidwitz will write the kids version of 'The Empire Strikes Back.'

The books are going to be published by Disney-Lucasfilm Press.
