World number one Novak Djokovic continued his rich vein of form as he brushed aside Spain's Feliciano Lopez in straight sets to progress through to the quarterfinals of the Shanghai Masters on Thursday.
The 10-time Grand Slam champion clinched a 6-2, 6-3 triumph over Lopez in the third round contest to set up a quarterfinal clash with either Richard Gasquet or Bernard Tomic for a semi-final berth.
Meanwhile, third seed Andy Murray bounced back from a set down to claim a 6-7(7), 6-4, 6-4 win over his American opponent John Isner in the third round contest that lasted two hours and 45 minutes.
