World number one Novak Djokovic continued his rich vein of form as he brushed aside his French opponent Gilles Simon in straight sets to sail into the quarterfinals of Paris Masters here on Thursday.
The Serbian claimed a 6-3, 7-5 win over Simon in the thrilling third round contest that lasted for about an hour and a half.
In other singles clash, second-seed Andy Murray defeated his Davis Cup rival David Goffin 6-1, 6-0 to make it to the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, Roger Federer will also aim to enter the last eight when he will take on John Isner in the third round today.
