Pakistani navy's extent of radicalization has come to the fore as it continues to stay silent on its dockyard attack after issuing one statement 48 hours after the incident took place in West Wharf on September 6th.
According to Dawn, the attack was carried out by serving Navy personnel along with Owais Jakharani who is former navy personnel and had an easy access to the dockyard.
The attackers' intention seemed to hijack PNS Zulfigar, a frigate purchased from China and inducted in July 2009.
Commander Kamran Asif said that the militants were armed with rocket launchers, assault rifles and hand grenades.
There has been speculation about whether the attackers entered the dockyard through sea or road. However, it still stays unclear.
