Dolly Parton recently defended her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, saying that singer's risque antics are simply forms of self-expression.
The 68-year-old musician asserted that she will never say anything bad about the 'Wrecking Ball' singer as she knew that the singer was smart, the Daily Express reported.
Parton said that she knew the 21-year-old singer was talented and has had to go to extreme measures to try to make her point, which was, to leave her alone as she was not Hannah Montana anymore and that she wanted to grow up.
