A young actor, Madelyn Miranda, who is all set play a lead role in the upcoming movie 'Dora the Explorer', will get paid less than USD 10,000.
She will play the role of a young Dora. TMZ reported that Miranda's minor's contract states that the nine-year-old will receive USD 8,420 for a week.
After the first week, the contract adds that the young actor will get a fixed amount of USD 3,500 a week, only if she decides to continue filming after the first week.
Many have criticised whether the young actor is actually getting her due. However, she will get to stay in a top-notch hotel, while receiving a daily allowance of USD 65.
The shooting for the film will start from today.
