An earthquake of 3.5 magnitude hit Dehradun at 2

However, no loss of life or property has been reported so far.

Earlier on December 19 an earthquake of 3.4 magnitude hit Uttarkashi region of Uttarakhand.

Dehradun which is the capital city of Uttarakhand falls under one of the most earthquake-prone areas along with Guwahati, Srinagar, Delhi, Jamnagar, Patna, Meerut, Amritsar and Jalandhar.
