EC rejects 28 Bihar poll second phase nomination papers

The Election Commission (EC) in Bihar has rejected 28 nominations after scrutiny for the second phase of assembly elections in the state.

In all, 471 candidates have been left in the fray after the scrutiny of papers for this phase. Candidates can withdraw their nominations till tomorrow.

In all, 32 constituencies, spread over the six districts of Kaimur, Rohtash, Arwal, Jehenabad, Aurangabad and Gaya, will go to polls on October 16.
