ECO Rent A Car, a professional car rental and ground transport company launched its services in Goa with an office in Panjim, thus enabling its self and chauffeur-driven transportation services to commuters in India's premium tourist spot.

Through this, choicest luxury vehicles such as Mercedes and Jaguar will be made available to ECO Rent A Car users in Goa, in addition to nine seater and 14-seater minivans like Toyota Commuter, sedans such as Maruti Suzuki Dzire, SUVs/MUVs such as Toyota Innova, and ISUZU buses.

Goa is already experiencing a 25 percent spike in demand in the self-driving luxury car rental sector. With the peak season of November-February already having started, the need for ground transportation is expected to be very high. Christmas, New Year, carnivals, music fests, and so on will be happening almost everywhere in Goa over the next two to three months, and the absence of cab aggregators like Ola and Uber presents a solid business opportunity for ECO to establish its foothold in the tourist-heavy market.

"Most of the travelers to Goa often book cars on an hourly basis for their day-to-day commute, but end up having to deal with a lot of issues regarding service consistency and pricing. This is the market gap that we are looking to address with our launch in the region. ECO offers best-in-class services at extremely economical rates, especially when booking a luxury car, and also ensures safety for its users," said Rajesh Loomba, Managing Director - Eco Rent A Car.

Wedding tourism has emerged as a significant market in Goa with families from Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, and other parts of the country hosting destination weddings in the state's various 5-star hotels. ECO aims to tap into this market as well by offering customised wedding solutions and associating with various hotels and consultancies to provide facilities such as airport transfers, sightseeing and so on to wedding guests.
