Late Christopher Lee's voice will be used in Edgar Allan Poe's animated anthology 'Extraordinary Tales'.
'The Lord of the Rings' actor's voice will be narrating the whole story on-screen with Guillermo del Toro, Roger Corman and Julian Sands, the Guardian reported.
The film will cover Poe's stories 'The Tell-Tale Heart', 'The Pit and the Pendulum', 'The Fall of the House of Usher', 'The Facts in the Case of M Valdemar' and 'The Masque of the Red Death'.
Bela Lugosi will also possibly feature on the project.
David Jesteadt, distributor of GKIDS said that the film, which will be directed by Lion King and 'Aladdin' animator Raul García, will take on the classic late-night horror anthology format with the full visual inventiveness.
The movie will hit cinemas and video on demand on 30 October. There is no word yet on a UK release date.
