An Egyptian court has sentenced Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammed Badie to death for planning attacks against the state.
According to BBC, the court also confirmed the death sentence of 13 others for the same and jailed a US-Egyptian citizen and 36 others for life.
Badie was sentenced in March and is involved in some 40 other trials. However, the sentences are subject to appeal.
Hundreds of people have been sentenced to death in a crackdown on the Brotherhood after former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi was ousted in 2013.
