The 36-year-old actor, who was seen in a negative role in the 2014 film, expressed his joy by tweeting, "Thank you for all your appreciation - #1YearOfEkVillain i Share it with my costars Amna @kamaalrkhan Nihar, the writers @tushar1307 @zmilap"
Giving a nostalgic kick to the celebration, the 30-year-old actor, who played a male protagonist in the movie, posted a collage of scenes from the movie with "1 Year of Ek Villian, 365 Memories" written on it.
Reviving her memories from the shoot, the 26-year-old actress posted her picture with the film's cast and captioned it, "#1YearOfEkVillain @mohit11481 @Riteishd @S1dharthM"
Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the romantic thriller that starred Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, had a total box office collection of 980 million INR.
