Ellen DeGeneres has revealed the rules she lives by for a happy life.
The funny woman, who's the queen of US prime time and a gay rights activist, told Porter magazine that a mix of sleep, kindness and willingness to change was at the top of her list, News.com.au reported.
The 57-year-old comedienne, who's married to Portia de Rossi, said the golden rules to happiness included having no rules in life, not being afraid of change, finding what you are passionate and following it, adding that when she realized hers was to make people happy and make the laugh, she became extremely driven.
DeGeneres also included sleeping right, exercising and letting things go to look at the bigger picture in her list.
