Bharatiya Janata Party's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi's campaign manager Narendra Tandon on Monday withdrew his resignation and cited his "emotional" state of mind as the reason behind his earlier decision.

"I was a member of the party and will remain so. I will continue to work for it in the same manner. I had become a bit emotional," said Tandon.

Earlier in the day, the BJP had said that Tandon has a history of resigning from the party on petty issues, adding that there is no conflict within the party.

Tandon had earlier in the day resigned from the party, accusing the former IPS officer of insulting him on every issue.

Meanwhile, the last lap of campaigning for the February 7 Delhi Assembly polls is on in full swing with the leaders of major political parties in the fray reaching out to the electorate to ensure their victory.

The last date of campaigning for the polls is February 5. The results for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be declared on February 10.
