Encounter kills four Militants in Northern Kashmir

Four militants and one paratrooper were killed in an encounter on Thursday here.

The encounter started after Army and police personnel launched an operation yesterday evening.

"Last night at around 8 p.m. we could hear a lot of gun-firing in the Hafruda forest. The firing was on all night. The firing stopped at around 7 a.m. We got to know that four militants were killed," Raees Masroor, a local inhabitant of Handwara told ANI.
