England boss Roy Hodgson has said that he cannot guarantee England would even qualify for the Soccer World Cup, as the nation's vital season gets under way on Wednesday, when they meet the old enemy Scotland at Wembley.
According to The Daily Star, the England boss believes Scotland will provide the ideal preparation and pledged his Three Lions squad will 'sweat blood' to reach Brazil.
Hodgson also denied he was upset about the televised games between Liverpool and Man United and the Arsenal-Tottenham derby being just five days before next month's World Cup qualifiers with Moldova and Ukraine, the report said.
Ukraine, Poland and Montenegro are battling with England for the one automatic qualifying place from Group H, the report added.
