Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff has revealed that the slow motion scenes in the hit TV show were created solely to fill up time.
The 61-year-old actor said, during an address at Cambridge University, that the producers of Baywatch didn't have enough money to fill the 50-minute slot, and so they just slowed down the running along the beach shots instead, the Daily Star reported.
He said that the show was like fluff, although there were lifeguards who do look almost as good as Pamela Anderson.
Hasselhoff also anecdotes about his years in showbiz, including top roles in shows such as Knight Rider and being picked as a judge for America's Got Talent.
