Wayne Rooney missed his last season game with West Bromwich Albion, as his wife Coleen was preparing to give birth to her second child on Sunday.
The footie ace was left out of the last match of Manchester United's season - an amazing 5-5 draw at West Bromwich Albion - to be by her bedside.
The WAG tweeted: "Such an uncomfortable sleep last night!!! #hurryupbaby."
According to sources, Coleen, 27, was admitted to the Liverpool Women's Hospital on Saturday, the Daily Star reported.
The striker, who reportedly asked for a transfer from manager Sir Alex Ferguson before his retirement, was given permission not to travel with the rest of the squad.
