Facebook has given green light to the posting of breastfeeding pictures.

A Facebook spokesman confirmed the news to the Verge, adding that though the company will allow such images, pictures with explicit nudity would still be taken down as they faced complaints against them from other users.

The social media website, which had earlier often removed breastfeeding photos at users' requests, stated on its help page that they know it's important for mothers to be able to share the experience of breastfeeding, which is a natural and beautiful process.
