Farhan Akhtar, along with the entire cast and crew of 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', celebrated the success of the film, which has grossed 40 crore in less then a week, in Mumbai.
While talking to the media, Akhtar said that he is touched with the overwhelming response the film has got from the audience.
"First of all I would like to thank the audience who are going to watch the film in theaters. We have made this film with lot of love and hard work and I am happy that the film is being appreciated by the audience," the 39-year-old actor said.
The star asserted at the occasion that the biggest compliment is that the major section of our audience is has fallen in love with the film.
"I think the biggest compliment is this only that the major section of our audience is loving the film and second biggest compliment is when Milkha ji and his family saw the film and he hugged Prasoon, Rakeysh and me that was the biggest compliment for me," he added.
Sonam Kapoor, who plays Akhtar's love interest in the movie, is content with the success of both her films, 'Raanjhanaa' and 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'.
"Its an incredible response, I am really happy that both my film have done well and I am very happy about that and I think this is the best phase of my life right now so I am happy," the actress said.
