Expressing serious concern over the issue of farmers' suicide, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Bijoy Sonkar Shastri on Tuesday said it should not be looked upon as pertaining to one particular state.

"The issue of farmer suicide is a critical one. It should not be looked at in context of a state but we should think of better policies which would solve their issues. They do not have any other means besides farming. The Central Government is thinking of better policies and programme to address their issues," said Shastri to ANI.
