A Pak photographer has claimed that Pakistani fashion weeks have upped their level in terms of quality and they can be now compared with India.
Faisal Farooqui is the person who has stood firm regardless of the politics, drama and mayhem in the fashion industry during its turbulent times, Express Tribune reported.
Farooqui of Dragonfly is also the official photographer for not only Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC) events, but also Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW) and the Lux Style Awards (LSAs).
Farooqui said that after his trip to Lakme India Fashion Week in 2003, he knew he had changed and he was looking for a change in the Pakistani industry.
He also said that he feels that the element that is keeping the Pakistani entertainment industry from progressing is the lack of maturity.
