FICCI promoting government's major ICT-driven initiatives

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in partnership with the Department of Electronics and Information Technology has commenced a half-day seminar on integrated digital solutions for a smarter India at the Hotel The Lalit here.

Member of Parliament and technology entrepreneur Rajeev Chandrasekhar and R. M. Agarwal, DDG (NT), Department of Telecommunications, are addressing the session.

Jonathan Seller, Senior Director of Development (Asia/Pacific), InfoComm International; Richard Tan, Executive Director, InfoComm Asia, will also address the seminar.

The prime objective of the seminar is to advance the dialogue between various stakeholders with a view to promote as well as support major ICT driven initiatives of the Indian government.

The focus of the event shall also be on promoting further investments and enhancing participation of not only the Communications and Technology industry, but also the pro A/V industry in India. Further updates are awaited.
