After becoming a multi-platinum success this year, 'Love Me Like You Do' earned Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo a late nomination for the Golden Globes' Best Original Song category.

The 28-year-old singer, who co-wrote the tune from the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' soundtrack, was not originally in the list when the Globes announced its nominations earlier this month, Channel 24 reported.

However, the Globes said that the 'Habits' hit-maker, along with Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, Ilya Salmanzadeh and Ali Payami, will now be competing for the title.

Lo and her songwriting collaborators bagged a Grammy nomination for best song written for visual media, while Ellie Goulding, who sang the song, got a nod for best pop solo performance.

'Love Me Like You Do' will be competing against Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's 'See You Again' (Furious 7); Sam Smith's 'Writing's on the Wall' (Spectre); Brian Wilson's 'One Kind of Love' (Love & Mercy); and David Lang's 'Simple Song #3' (Youth) for the title at the Globes.

The Golden Globe awards is slated to air on 10 January.
