Australian big-hitting batsman Aaron Finch has admitted that his team is not afraid of losing as it has the potential to take on any team in the ongoing World Cup tournament.
One has to beat the best team in the world to win the coveted trophy, said Finch, ahead of their crunch pool game against Sri Lanka on Sunday in Sydney.
The right-handed batsman further said that they had been playing some really good cricket lately, adding that they were not afraid of losing, and if they stick to the basics, they could get the job done, Sport24 reported
Reflecting on the World Cup tie against Sri Lanka, Finch said that it was an important game as a defeat would make it a little bit harder in their path to the final.
Australia are currently third in Pool A table after losing to New Zealand and taking just a point from their washed out game against Bangladesh.
