The first song from one of the most awaited Bollywood film of the year, Zero, is finally out. The song, titled 'Mera Naam Tu', was unveiled by Shah Rukh Khan on his Instagram account, in the quirkiest manner possible.

Shah Rukh addressed the film's lead character and wrote "Brother! This guy is a little bad, a little mad, but he is the best lad for his lady love! Please pay attention to this Aafia @anushkasharma, this guy is not as bad as you think" ("bhai! Ye thoda sa bad hai, thoda sa mad hai, par apni lady ke liye ekdum best lad hai! Zara iss par bhi nazar daal lo Aafia, @anushkasharma yeh itna bura bhi nahi hai.")

In the fresh new song, lead character Bauua is trying to impress Aafia, played by Anushka Sharma.

Shah Rukh Khan, sporting his usual lover-boy charm, romances the differently-abled character of Anushka Sharma, only to bring a smile on her face. The melodious track shows the two embracing each other's imperfections to celebrate life and eventually fall in love.

The song has been composed by the music duo Ajay-Atul and penned by Irshad Kamil.

'Zero' presents the story of Bauua, a vertically challenged man essayed by Shah Rukh Khan, who is on a lookout for a bride. Set against the backdrop of Meerut, the film presents a unique as well as rooted story. Katrina plays a superstar in the movie, while Anushka essays the role of a differently-abled girl.

According to the makers, Bauua's experiences with these women "take him on a journey to complete his 'incompleteness' and broaden his horizons to find a purpose he never knew he had."

The trailer of 'Zero' also received positive response from fans and Bollywood celebrities alike.

Produced by Gauri Khan, the Aanand L Rai-directorial is all set to hit the big screens on December 21.
