Five persons were on Tuesday injured when militants exploded a powerful bomb in a market complex in Imphal.
The bomb exploded closer to Bheirodan Maxwell School located near Marwari Dharmasala complex here.

"I am a resident from Sitamarhi in Bihar. The blast took place at around 5: 30 a.m.," said Raghunath Mahatao, a native of Bihar's Sitamarhi District.
The area where the blast took place is just around 300 meters away from the city police station. This has been the second blast that took place near the city police station, which is a high security area.
The injured have been admitted to the nearby hospitals.
The bomb is suspected to be an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
