Five members, who were elected in the recent Lok Sabha bye-polls, took oath in the house on Monday.
Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar administered the oath to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Prabhunath Singh, Congress leader Pratibha Singh, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Prasun Banerjee and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary and Vithalbhai Hanjrabhai Radadiya.
The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, later introduced the eight ministers, who were inducted in the Council of Ministers.
Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha chairman Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari administered the oath to Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader Kanimozhi in the upper house.
