Mathieu Flamini scored a stunning brace as Arsenal claimed a 2-1 win over rivals Tottenham in the third round of the Capital One Cup.

The French midfielder put Arsenal ahead in the 26th minute before a Calum Chambers own goal levelled the scores shortly after half time.

Subsequently, Flamini timed a glorious 22-yard volley 12 minutes before the final whistle to seal the victory in the north London derby, the Daily Express reported.

Arsenal will next face Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth round.
