Ford India launches upgraded EcoSport with base price of Rs.679,563

Ford India launched its new EcoSport with enhanced power, performance, appeal and features with a starting price of Rs 679,563.

This has been done keeping in mind the festive season which is just round the corner. Auto companies look at this season to boost up sales for the year.

The new EcoSport comes with Ford's highly efficient 1.5L TDCi diesel engine with an improved peak power of 100 PS that delivers a mileage of 22.27 Km per litre. The improved and more powerful diesel motor will be strapped to a five-speed manual transmission.

The new Trend+ variant will be offered with a choice of 1.5L TDCi diesel engine as well as Ford's globally acclaimed EcoBoost engine, which produces 125 PS of power while delivering a range of 18.88 Km per litre and emits 15 percent less CO2.

If one is looking for an automatic, Ford offers the 1.5L TiVCT petrol engine that delivers 112 PS of power and fuel efficiency of 15.85 Km per litre, with a six-speed dual clutch PowerShift automatic transmission.

Accentuating its aggressive stance, the new EcoSport's bold and dynamic front fascia will be complemented by the addition of signature light guide. The vehicle will also feature daytime running lights/fog lamps. The new EcoSport comes in a new colour: Golden Bronze.
