Former J-K DSP shot dead by militants

Former DSP of Jammu and Kashmir police, Bashir Ahmed, was gunned down by unidentified militants in the state's Kulgam district on Wednesday.

According to reports, the officer was coming out of a mosque after offering prayers.

A search operation has been launched to trace the militants.
