Fresh ceasefire violation in Poonch

After maintaining a ceasefire for two days, Pakistani forces on Wednesday once again resorted to mortar shelling and firing in the Sawjian sector of Poonch.

Indian force also retaliated by firing back. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

The last reported violation of the ceasefire by Pakistan was in the Shahpur Kerni sector of Poonch District in Jammu on October 13, which resulted in the injury of one civilian.
