England football legend Paul Gascoigne is seeking counseling to fight against alcohol addiction.

The news comes two weeks after fans found Gazza lying in the gutter outside a top London hotel.

According to the Daily Star, Gazza's friends said that the former Newcastle United and Spurs star is 'recovering well'.

They said that Gazza realised that staying sober is the best way to repay everyone for all they have done for him.

They added that he is determined to use his embarrassment over his recent relapse to spur him on to stay off booze for good.
