National Panthers Party (NPP) Chief Bhim Singh on Saturday said that Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif blaming India in Washington for not resuming talks over Kashmir and escalating ceasefire violations across the Line of Control, shows the latter's frustration as he is trying for his political survival.

"Nawaz Sharif has been trying for his political survival. He knows that the army does not like him. He knows what his future will be like if things continue in the same way if ISI continues its control over the situation. So the statement made by Nawaz Sharif does not mean anything," Singh told ANI here.
"It only shows that he is speaking out of frustration. He has no other issue left but to talk of Kashmir and abuse India," he added.

Sharif, currently on his second bilateral visit to the US, met President Barack Obama on Friday and held wide-ranging talks.
Array
Sharif had said that his country would be forced to take "countermeasures" to deter against any attacks, given a major arms buildup by India and its refusal to resume talks over Kashmir.
Array
Sharif also blamed India for the 'cancellation' of Foreign Secretary-level talks between the two countries in August.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was also heckled by a Baloch activist Ahmar Mustikhan in Washington, who demanded a free Balochistan province.
