'Game of Thrones' helmer Michelle MacLaren is being considered to direct Warner Bros. 'Wonder Woman' spinoff movie, it has been revealed.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the studio had been meeting with numerous female directors although not specifically for the 'Wonder Woman' project.
MacLaren has developed a reputation as a muscular director and has drawn comparisons to Kathryn Bigelow, the Oscar-winning filmmaker behind movies ranging from 'Point Break' to 'The Hurt Locker'.
Warner Bros. has slated the 'Wonder Woman' film for release in June, 2017.
