Former United States President George W. Bush has said that he wanted to publish his father's biography now because he wanted his dad to read it while he was alive.
According to CNN, Bush said that he wanted his dad to see how he and a lot of other people care for him.
H.W. Bush's presidency was "overshadowed by his predecessor", said the younger Bush.
He also said that the book '41: A Portrait of My Father' was a good read and that his father was the best one-term president in the U.S. history.
He discussed the friendship his father shared with the former Prime Minister and his 1992 rival Bill Clinton.
Bush told a number of funny as well as touching stories at the event that went on for 45 minutes.
